Launch of Nursing Clinic by Dr. Maryam Shaygan, Director of the Nursing Faculty and Community-Based Psychiatric Care Research Center
Dr. Maryam Shaygan, President of the Nursing Faculty and Director of the Community-Based Psychiatric Care Research Center, announced the inauguration of the country’s first-ever nursing clinic. The clinic, located at the Imam Reza (AS) Specialized and Super-Specialized Medical Center, aims to enhance the quality of life for patients while increasing awareness among both patients and their families.
During the inauguration ceremony, Dr. Shaygan emphasized that the core mission of the clinic is to provide care and educational services across various physical, psychological, social, and spiritual domains. She highlighted that this initiative represents a significant step forward in improving patient well-being through a holistic approach to healthcare.
Dr. Shaygan also underscored that the launch of this unique clinic would offer valuable opportunities for nursing students, enhancing their experience in chronic disease prevention and multidimensional care. This project, she noted, is expected to play a key role in improving the overall quality of healthcare services in the country.
