The President of the Community-Based Psychiatric Care Research Center met with the representative of the Supreme Leader in Fars Province.

Dr. "Maryam Shaygan," President of the Community-Based Psychiatric Care Research Center, stated: "This meeting was held to discuss and exchange ideas on strategies to increase hope creation among the youth in society."

The "Representative of the Supreme Leader" mentioned: "Some of the cultural problems we face are inherited from the dictatorial and autocratic era before the revolution. One of our issues is the lack of public participation in surveys related to their concerns, as they feel their opinions are not utilized."

Ayatollah Dezhkam, referring to the remarks of the Supreme Leader regarding the importance of religious democracy, stated: "Needs-based research on the needs and concerns of the people has been one of the most important actions over the years."

He acknowledged that positions such as Assistant Professorship, Associate Professorship, and Full Professorship are among the highest positions in the Islamic Republic system. Each faculty member is considered a representative of the ruling system in society, and they can play a significant role in reflecting the concerns of the youth to the authorities and addressing the country's problems.

He further emphasized the vital role of faculty members and the media in creating hope and motivation among the youth, saying: "Each media representative and faculty member is an envoy from our side, capable of conveying the concerns of the people and the youth to the authorities and taking steps to increase hope in society."

In this session, Dr. "Maryam Shaygan" stressed the importance of young people being seen and heard. She highlighted the importance of meeting with students, using their potential to address community needs, creating entrepreneurial opportunities for the youth, eliminating discrimination, and giving people a taste of service.
