Goals of the Center

To develop and apply human knowledge in the field of community-based science.
To conduct fundamental epidemiological and clinical research aimed at reforming the health service delivery system in the country to meet the needs of the Islamic community.
To collect, organize, and classify relevant documents, articles, and materials and publish them.
To train human resources as researchers in community-based mental health.
To encourage, motivate, and employ researchers.
To work on attracting attention and collaboration from relevant research and executive centers within the country.
To collaborate scientifically with research and educational centers in other countries and international organizations while adhering to the laws and regulations of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
To assess community needs and strive to enhance the level of mental health and prevent mental disorders in the community.
To work towards empowering human resources to operate at three levels of prevention.
