According to the Public Relations of the Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery at Hazrat Fatima (S) University, a training session on how to approach suicide-attempting patients and how to communicate bad news was held with a lecture by Dr. Maryam Shaygan. This training session was organized at the request of the Treatment Department of the University for nurses and psychologists at hospitals in Fars Province.

During the session, the risk factors for suicide, dos and don’ts when interacting with suicide-attempting patients and their families, and clinical guidelines for delivering bad news to patients were discussed in detail.
