The Head of the Community-Based Psychiatric Care Research Center announced the design and distribution of 3 educational posters and 5 pamphlets aimed at educating patients with psychiatric disorders hospitalized in mental health centers in Shiraz. Dr. Maryam Shaygan emphasized the important role of education in improving the attitudes and behaviors of patients with psychiatric disorders. She noted that utilizing accessible and cost-effective educational methods, such as posters and pamphlets, is essential for facilitating education and enhancing the awareness and attitudes of patients with psychiatric conditions. She added that these posters and pamphlets, developed with the help of undergraduate nursing students, cover various aspects of mental health, including assertiveness skills, cognitive errors and their correction strategies, stress and its management, as well as anger and its management.
